Coloured eggs, hot cross buns, cakes, ham, roast lamb and so many other delicacies mark the gala Easter celebrations. While in United States, ham is the traditional Easter food, roast lamb is a must for the Jewish community.

The sacrificial lamb was roasted and eaten, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs in hopes that the angel of God would pass over their homes and bring no harm.

Honey Pastry is eaten by Syrian and Jordanian Christians and Pretzels, shaped like praying torso and cakes, cup cakes and buns are other favourites during the festival.
