Gudi Padwa/Ugadi special recipe: Shrikhand

Celebrate Gudi Padwa and Ugadi by preparing this easy to make shrikhand recipe.


300 gm curd
250 gm powdered sugar
A few strands of kesar
½ tsp cardamom powder
Dry fruits for garnishing (optional)


Put the curd in a muslin cloth and hang it overnights so that he water drains off completely.
Now add the powdered sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
Garnish with kesar.
Refrigerate. Serve cold.
