Independence Day special recipe: Tiranga Lasagne

Celebrate this Independence day by preparing this recipe by Cremica Food.


•          Spinach Washed-cleaned 1-1 kg

•          Onion fine chopped ½ cup

•          Garlic fine chopped 1-1 tbp

•          Salt & Pepper to taste

•          Potatoes cooked and cut in medium size cubes 1-1 kg

•          Cremica cheese Mayonnaise ½ cup

•          Salt & Pepper to taste

•          Carrots peeled and sliced 2 cup 

•          Cremica Mexican Salsa ½ cup

•          Salt & Pepper to taste

•          Lasagne sheets ½ packet

•          Parmesan Cheese or Mozzarella (as needed)

•          Oven Proof Glass bowl 3 inch width -5 inch height 

•          Salt & Pepper to taste


Soak the Lasagne sheet in Water till soft. And drain well.

Cook the Spinach for a few Min in Hot Water and cool down in Ice Water. Dain well and chop a bit. In a Pan sauté the Onion and garlic till start to get a little Brown and add the Spinach and cook of 1 Min. Season with Salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Mix the Potatoes and the Cremica Cheese Mayonnaise. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste. Set aside.

Cook the Carrot for a few Minute in water till soft, drain well and mix with the Mexican Salsa.

In an Oven Proof Glass Bowl spread the Spinach on the Bottom, cover with Lasagne Sheet. Spread the Potato Filling on top, be careful not to damage the Lasagne below.

Place another Lasagne sheet.

Mix the Carrots and Mexican Salsa and spread on top as last layer. Sprinkle a bit of grated Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese on top, just a sprinkle for not to cove the Carrot too much.

Bake at 200 Celsius in a preheated Oven till the Cheese has a nice color. 

If you like spicy replace the Mexican Salsa with Cremica Chilly Garlic Sauce.
