Enjoy the lip-smacking taste of Masala Chops.
1/2 kg Mutton chops
1/2 cup Oil
3 Medium onions, grated
2 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 cup Fresh tomato puree
2 Green chilies, sliced
2 tsp Chopped coriander
Wash mutton chops and pat dry.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions, garlic and ginger, and fry till brown.
Sprinkle in spice powders and salt, and stir well.
Add chops, mix well and fry till golden brown.
Blend in tomato puree and fry till oil bubbles on the surface, stirring occasionally.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups water, cover pan and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, till chops are tender and gravy is thick.
Garnish with green chilies and coriander leaves, and serve with naan, tandoori bread or paratha.
