Recipe: Ratnagiri alphonso aamras, pomegranate granite

Enjoy the delicious Ratnagiri aamras.

Ingredients

For aamras
Peeled alphonso mango chunks ------- 2 nos

Milk ---------30 ml
Saffron ----------------------few strands
Green cardamom --------- 3-4 seeds (crushed)

For granita
Pomegranate juice -------------- 100 ml
Sugar ------------------------------- to taste

Procedure

For granite mix sugar and pomegranate juice and freeze in trays.

For aamras mix all the ingredients and blend to a smooth paste and chill in the refrigerator.

To serve pour chilled aamras in a shallow bowl and place crushed granite in the middle.
