Recipe: Almond Macaroons

Enjoy these simple and flavoursome Almond Macaroons.

Ingredients

-1 large egg white
-1/4 cup sugar
-1 tsp almond extract
-1/4 cup wheat germ
-Shredded coconut

Directions

-Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
-In a large bowl, with a hand held mixer on medium speed beat egg white until stiff.
-Slowly beat in sugar and extract.
-Mix well then fold in wheat germ. Spoon out mixture and drop on a greased baking sheet by the 1/2 teaspoon measurement.
-Drop oven temperature to 200° and bake for 1 hour.
