3-4 medium sized boiled potatoes (cut into small cubes)
2 fistful of Kasuri methi (soaked in warm water for 10 minutes)
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp dhaniya
1 red chilli
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp saunf
½ tsp haldi turmeric powder
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp mustard seeds
Salt to taste
1 ½ tablespoon oil
Heat some oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds. Once the seeds sputter, add the cut potatoes. Mix thoroughly. Add all the masalas, chilli, sugar and salt. Then add the soaked Kasuri methi. Mix thoroughly.
Cook for a few minutes until the methi blends well with the potatoes.
Take it off the flame. Serve hot with dal and rice or rotis.
