1 pastry for double crust pie
1/2 cup butter (without salt)
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Firstly, start with preheating the oven at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Put the non-salted butter in a container, and let it melt. Add the flour, until it forms a thick paste. Mix water, white sugar and brown sugar, let it boil. Then put it on simmer.
In the bottom crust of the pan, add apples. Cover with a lattice work crust. Pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Now, bake it for at least 15 minutes. Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.
Your dish is ready to be served.
