Recipe: Apple Rabdi

Try out this lip smacking recipe.


2-3 medium Apples
1 litre Milk
2-3 tbsp Sugar
¼ tsp Green cardamom powder
8-10 Almonds, blanched and sliced
8-10 Pistachios, blanched and sliced


Pour milk in a broad vessel and bring to a boil.
Simmer till it is reduced to half the original quantity.
Mix sugar and cook on low heat, stirring continuously.
Peel and grate two apples.
Mix the grated apples to reduced milk and mix.
Cook for three to four minutes.
Mix cardamom powder, almonds and pistachios.
Take it off the heat.
Serve hot or cold.
