Recipe: Apple rasam
Try something new with apple rasam.
Peel, cut and slice apples 1 cup
Rasam powder 2 tsps
Salt to taste
Lime juice 2 tsp
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
Coriander leaves for garnishing.
Boil the apple in water for about 10 mins till you feel that the apple is thoroughly soaked in water.
Blend this in the mixture and keep the juice aside.
Dilute this juice with lots of water and boil with salt, cinnamon powder, and rasam powder for 5 mins, put off the gas.
Just before you want to serve, boil this rasam once again for 5 mins, add coriander leaves and lime juice.
Serve hot with roasted papad .
