Recipe: Asian Prawn Curry
Ruffle up this heavenly delicacy today!
Prawns (medium), shelled and deveined , 20
Lemon grass stalk, 2
Oil, 2 tablespoons
Mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves, 15 - 20
Onion, sliced, 1 medium
Birds eye chillies, diagonally sliced, 4 - 5
Ginger, chopped, 1/2 inch piece
Tomato, chopped, 1 medium
Salt, to taste
Turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon
Crush the lemon grass stalks and then chop them finely.
Heat the oil in a non stick pan, add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion, bird’s eye chillies and ginger and sauté till fragrant.
Add the prawns and sauté for two to three minutes.
Add the tomato and stir to mix.
Add the lemon grass, salt, turmeric powder and coconut milk.
Cook till the prawns are just done.
