Recipe: Banana Split–Coconut Fantacy

Enjoy your Banana Split with the goodness of coconut.


4 firm bananas
200 gms whipped fresh cream or condensed milk
1/2 cup powdered sugar
4 tsp desiccated coconut
Juice of 1 lemon
A few drops of yellow colour
1 tsp butter


Peel the bananas, split them length wise and lay them side by side in a greased baking dish.

Sprinkle lemon juice all over. Sprinkle with the powdered sugar.

Dot with butter and lightly sprinkle the desiccated coconut over them.

Micro high for 5 minutes till the bananas are cooked but firm.

To serve-Mix the remaining sugar with the cream (if using cream)and pour over the bananas.

Add two drops of yellow colour to one tsp desiccated coconut and sprinkle on the top of the pudding. Serve cold.
