Recipe: Bel ka Sharbat

Bel or wood apple not only acts as a coolant but also is excellent for stomach. Try out this refreshing drink.


1 medium-sized Bel(Wood Apple)
½ tsp Cumin Powder (roasted)
¼ tsp Black Salt
2 glasses Water
2-3 tsp Sugar


Break open the bel and take out the pulp with the help of a spoon.
Soak the pulp in water for 4 hrs and then sieve it to remove seeds.
Add sugar, black salt, cumin powder and mix well.
Serve chilled.
