Try these amazing chenna chocolates squares.
Serves: 4, time required: 30 minutes plus setting time.
1 litre milk
2 tsp vinegar
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp kahlua(Cocoa flavored liqueur)
4 tsp rose water
4 tsp sliced mixed dry fruits
2 sheets silver varakh
2 tsp cocoa powder
Bring the milk to boil, add the vinegar.
When the milk curdles, drain out excess water.
Put the chenna in a pan.
Add sugar, kahlua and rose water.
Keep stirring over low heat till the sugar is dissolved and leaves the sides of the pan.
Spread the chenna mixture in a greased tray. Sprinkle sliced dry fruits over. Garnish with silver varakh. Let it set for three hours.
When set, cut into neat 5cm squares or desired shapes. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top serve cold.
Note: Chenna squares are nutritious and delicious.
