Recipe: Chicken Roast

Try out this easy to make, quick recipe for roasted chicken.

1 chicken, plucked with giblets removed
1 lemon, halved
Olive Oil
Salt and pepper


Preheat your oven to 180°C.
Rub salt in the cavity of the chicken, then insert the two halves of lemon.
Rub the chicken skin all over with olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper. Place in a lightly oiled roasting tin.
Cook chicken till done, but be careful not to dry up its juices.
