Recipe: Chocolate Cream Easter Eggs

Relish these delectable chocolate cream Easter eggs.


5 tsp butter
3 tsp flour
2 tsp hot water
1/2 cup chopped candied fruit
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Chocolate fudge frosting mix
White frosting mix


Add frosting mix with soft butter, flour, water and if desired, chopped fruit or nuts.

Knead it on board lightly dusted with sugar.

Divide and shape into eggs and chill.

Coat eggs with chocolate fudge frosting mix.

Keep frosting mix over hot water while dipping the eggs.

Decorate with white frosting mix tinted with pastel colours.
