Recipe: Citrus Salad
A healthy diet this season, relish the delicious Citrus salad!
8 cups assorted salad greens
2 large grapefruit, peeled, seeded & sectioned
2 navel oranges, peeled, seeded & sectioned
4 kiwi fruit, peeled & cut into sixths
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup orange juice
3 tsps balsamic vinegar
1 tsp honey
½ tsp black pepper
Arrange salad greens and fruit on individual plates or on a large platter.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, orange juice, vinegar, honey and pepper.
Drizzle desired amount of dressing over greens, fruit and serve immediately. Refrigerate any leftover dressing.
