Try out this healthy and tasty chaat today!
Large hard-boiled Potatoes (cubed), 2
Boiled Corn Seeds, 2 cups
Butter, 1 tablespoon
Green Chili (sliced), 1 large
Sugar, 1 teaspoon
Salt, to taste
Fresh Lemon Juice, 3 tablespoon
Plain Sour Yoghurt, 3/4 cup
Onion (finely chopped), 3 tablespoon
Fresh Cilantro (finely chopped), 1 ½ tablespoon
Tomato (for garnishing), 1
For Chaat Masala:
Dry Red Chilli, 1
Black Pepper, 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Seeds, 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds, 1 teaspoon
Heat a frying pan and fry all the chaat masala ingredients, until the mixture is crisp.
Remove from the flame. Grind the mixture into a fine powder and set it aside.
Blend the yoghurt with about ½ cup water, continue till smooth. Set it aside.
Heat the butter in the same frying pan. Fry the potato cubes and green chilli until brown, on high heat.
Add the boiled corn, salt, and sugar. Mix for about 15-20 seconds and remove from heat.
Sprinkle the lemon juice and toss well.
Transfer the mixture into serving bowls.
Add about 2-3 tablespoon yoghurt on each bowl. Garnish with onion, tomato and cilantro.
Sprinkle some of the prepared chat masala.
The Corn Chaat is ready to be served!
