Recipe: Fafda

Ingredients:

1 cup besan (gram flour)
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon Ajwain
A pinch of hing
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
Water as per requirement
Oil

Procedure:

Put the basin in a vessel. Add all the masalas and baking powder and salt to the basin. Now add water and make dough. Use some oil to make the dough non-sticky.
Divide the dough into smaller portions and make pedas out of them. Now use a rolling pin to roll out each of the pedas into thin strips. In the meanwhile, heat some oil in a kadhai for frying the rolled out fafdas.
Carefully pick each of the strips one by one and fry until crisp.
Fafda is ready to be served.
