Recipe: Fig, Apricot and Nutty Pizza

Enjoy the sumptuous fig, apricot and nutty pizza.

Ingredients:

2 small pizza bases

For the topping:

4 tablespoons chopped walnuts
5-dried apricots, soaked in water and chopped
10 dried figs soaked in water and chopped
2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp melted butter
1 tsp lemon juice

Procedure:

Prick the pizzas with a fork at regular intervals.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180degree c for 5-8minutes.

Remove the half baked pizzas from the oven.

Mix all the ingredients for the topping in a bowl, keep aside 2 tablespoon of walnuts to sprinkle on top later.

Spread the topping onto the half-baked pizzas.

Sprinkle the remaining chopped walnuts on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree c for 10 minutes or till the bases are crisp.

Remove from the oven, cool slightly and cut into wedges. Serve with vanilla ice-cream.
