Recipe: Fried Egg, Cheese N’ Sprouts Salad

Salads are not just for health. Sometimes they are also for the taste buds. Try out this savoury egg, cheese, sprouts and vegetable salad and treat your yearning palate.

Ingredients :

2 boiled eggs
2 tsp sprouted horse gram
2 tsp sprouted green gram
2 tsp sprouted groundnut
2 tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp chopped coriander
1 tsp chopped green chilly
2 tsp cheese spread
50 gms cottage cheese
½ cup oil for frying
½ cup peas
2 tsp butter


Heat oil and deep fry the eggs till brown. Discard the extra oil. Heat butter in a pan. Add garlic, sprouts, peas, salt and cover till they become soft. Now add cheese, cottage cheese, pepper, coriander and tomato sauce. Sauté for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from fire. Serve hot with sliced fried eggs.
