Recipe: Fruity Tea Cakes

You can make tasty, crispy tea cakes at home by trying this simple recipe.


1 cup (240g) sugar
200gms (preferably melted)
2 eggs (beaten)
2 cups flour
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon
Chopped cherries, nuts, raisins
2 tsp baking powder


Preheat oven.

Mix the butter and sugar until the batter is smooth.

Add eggs and mix some more. Sift baking powder with flour.

Add the flour and cinnamon and mix thoroughly. Add the nuts, cherries and raisins.

Put the mixture into cookie mould.

Put it in oven until cookies are golden brown.

Remove, and let cool.
