Recipe: Green Corn Pakoras

Ingredients:

¼ cup chopped spring onions
¼ cup shelled peas
3 green chilies chopped
¼ cup fried, broken cashew
¼ cup boiled sweet corn
½ cup cottage cheese (crumbled)
2 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp tomato sauce
1&1/2 cup gram flour
1 cup water
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1&1/2 cup oil for deep frying

Procedure:

Mix together gram flour and water to make a semi thick batter. You can add more water or gram flour if you do not find the required consistency. Now add salt, red chilly, pepper and turmeric powder. Put all other ingredients and mix well.

Heat oil in a deep bottomed vessel. Add spoonfuls of pakora mixture and deep fry. Serve hot with green chutney.
