Green rice is healthy, easy to make and tastes delicious.
1 cup steamed rice
1 cup spinach puree
½ tsp ginger paste
1 small onion (finely chopped)
Oil for cooking
½ tsp jeera
½ tsp black pepper powder
A few coriander leaves (finely chopped)
A few mint leaves (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Heat some oil in a pan and add jeera. Now add the ginger paste and the finely chopped onion. Fry until the onion turns transparent. Now add the spinach puree, black pepper power, chopped mint and coriander leaves and cook well. Now add salt and the steamed rice. Cook until the spinach puree mixes well with the rice.
