Recipe: Healthy Tomato Soup
If you love tomato soup but don’t have time to make it following an elaborate recipe, try this simple one. It is quick and gives wonderful results.
2 cups tomato juice
2 tsp cornflour dissolved in a little cold water
1 tsp roasted cumin seed powder
1 tbsp ginger - garlic paste
½ cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients in a vessel except for milk and bring to a boil on medium flame.
Let it simmer on low heat for about 5-6 minutes.
Add the milk and let it simmer again on low heat for about a few minutes.
Add a dash of cream or butter before serving.
