Procedure: Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and when they start to change color, add green chilly and sliced bitter gourd.Cook covered on medium low flame till the karela becomes soft.Uncover, add sliced onion and fry on medium flame till onion turns golden brown.Now add turmeric powder and salt.Remove from heat and add the lemon juice.Serve with rice and plain daal.
