Navratri special recipe: Lauki Ka Halwa
4 cups grated bottle gourd (lauki/ doodhi/ghia)
1 cup milk
2 cups sugar
½ cup desi ghee ( clarified butter)
In a pan, Add the ghee and cook the grated gourd for a few minutes. Add sugar and milk till the ghee starts floating on the surface. While cooking, keep stirring continuously to avoid burning. Add the pistachio.
