Recipe: Mango Raita
Try out this delightful raita recipe.
2-3 Ripe mangoes, peeled
3 Ripe tomatoes, seeded and diced
2 Cups non-fat plain yogurt
1/4 Cup finely chopped red onion
½ tsp powdered brown sugar
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
2 tbsp Chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Black salt to taste
Cut mango flesh into 1/4-inch dice and place in a bowl with the onion, tomatoes and and mix.
In a different bowl, mix the chilli, sugar and yogurt. Spoon the yogurt into the fruit, sprinkle with the salt, and fold in the cilantro.
Cover, refrigerate at least for one hour. Serve chilled.
