Recipe: Mango Rasam

Beat the heat this summer with mango rasam.

Ingredients:

1 cup peeled the mangoes, cut and sliced roughly
2 tsp rasam powder
Salt to taste
2 tsp lime juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
Coriander leaves for garnishing.

Procedure:

Peel the mangoes, cut and sliced roughly.

Make puree with 4 cups of water.

Boil with salt, cinnamon powder and rasam powder for 5 minutes.

Just before you want to serve, boil this rasam once again for 5 minutes, add coriander leaves and lime juice.

Serve hot with chips and papads.
