Recipe: Marzipan

Marzipan, the essential ingredient of so many desserts can be made at home. Follow this simple recipe.

Ingredients

250 gms Cashewnut
250 gms powdered Sugar
2-3 drops Almond Essence
1 Egg White

Procedure

Powder the cashew nuts finely and mix well with the powdered sugar.

Add almond essence and food colouring if required.

Knead into a soft dough with egg whites on a clean surface.

Make desired shapes.

You can add food colour to give a more lively look.
