Make your evening tea tastier with methi ke karare pakode.
200 gms methi leaves (properly washed. The moisture must be squeezed out)
150 gms Besan
2 tsp ajwain
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp jeera powder
Oil for cooking
Salt to taste
Heat one tsp oil in a pan. Add the methi leaves and cook them until they reduce to half.
Now make a batter with the besan by adding some water. Make sure the batter isn’t too thick or too thin.
Simultaneously, heat some oil in a pan for frying the pakodas.
Add jeera powder, chilli powder, ajwain and salt to the batter and mix well.
Take small quantity of the methi leaves in your hand. Dip it in the besan batter, make a rough ball out of it and put it in the oil for frying.
Repeat the process.
