Recipe: Mint Shikanji

Beat the heat this summer by mint shikanji.

Ingredients:

4 tsp mint syrup
1/4 tsp black salt(optional)
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp sugar syrup
Crushed ice as required
2 cups lemonade or soda water
2 lemon slices and pudiuna leaves to garnish

Procedure:

Blend together mint syrup, black salt, sugar syrup and lemon juice well.

Add crushed ice, soda or lemonade and stir. Pour into four stemmed glasses.

Decorate with a slice of lemon and pudina leaves.serve chilled.
