Recipe: Minted Mashed PeasRecipe: Minted Mashed Peas
This minted mashed peas is finger licking good. Just try out this easy to make dish.

Ingredients :

2 1/4 cups quick-soak dried peas
1 tsp sea salt 4 tbsp malt vinegar
1 tbsp mint sauce
ground black pepper

Procedure:

Soak the peas for 2 hours.
Drain the peas and place in a pan with 1 1/2 cups of cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes until the mixture is tender and thickened.
Stir in the salt, vinegar and mint sauce, and season to taste. Serve warm.

   Instead of Vinegar, you can put Lemon juice.. and garnish with Ginger and Coriander leaves.. can add finely chopped onion also in the garnish... I can guarantee...you will just love it.  - Rekha - New Delhi
