Recipe: Mixed green Kebab

There is no need for the vegetarians to ever think that they have limited options in food. Even they can have an extravaganza on their platter as their non-veg counterparts. So try out this mouth watering recipe and feel why veg Kebabs are equally great.


1 cup grated bottle gourd
2 mashed boiled potatoes

2 chopped green chillies

2 tsp chopped coriander leaves

1 tsp ginger paste

1 finely chopped onion of medium size

1 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp pepper powder

Salt to taste

1 tsp grounded garam masala

3 tsp gram flour

1 cup oil for deep frying


Squeeze out excess water from the grated bottle gourd. Add together all ingredients and mix well. Make into round balls and flatten them. You can add a little more gram flour if the balls do not seem firm. Now heat oil in a deep bottomed pan and deep fry the cutlets. Serve with green chutney, tomato sauce and onion rings.
