Recipe: Mooli masala parantha

Fight the chilling winter mornings with Mooli masala paranthas.


1 medium sized mooli
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp jeera powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ amchur powder
Salt to taste
Roti dough enough to make 3 paranthas


Knead a dough as you prepare for making roti. Make three equal sized balls. Grate the mooli.
Now use a rolling pin to roll he balls. Now place some quantity of mooli in the middle of the rolled parantha add all the masalas and salt with a gentle hand so the they mix well with the grated mooli.
Now conceal the stuffing with the rolled parantha.
Use some flour so that it doesn’t stick while rolling.
Put it on a heated tava and fry either side until golden brown.
