Recipe name: Soya-strawberry ice cream topped with corn flakes

Enjoy your summers with this mouth watering ice-cream.


2cups fresh strawberries, cleaned

4 tsp powdered sugar

1/2 cup Soya milk

4 tsp fresh cream

A few drops of Strawberry essence

For topping:

2 tsp strawberry sauce

4 tsp corn flakes


Pour 1 ½ cups of strawberries in an electric blender till smooth.

Chop finely the remaining and keep aside.

Add sugar to the pureed strawberries and run a bit again, to mix.

Add soyamilk, fresh cream and essence. Blend till smooth.

Pour into ice cube trays, allow to set in freezer till firm.

Empty into a large container. Mash coarsely with spoon. Beat till smooth with an electric or hand blender.

Mix chopped strawberries and Transfer to an airtight container. Keep in freezer to set firmly.

While serving, scoop out the ice-cream in individual bowls and top with strawberry sauce and corn flakes.
