Orange French Toast puts a twist on cinnamon bread.
6 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup half-and-half- cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
8 thick slices cinnamon bread
1/4 cup butter, melted
1.In a shallow bowl, combine the first six ingredients.
2.Dip both sides of bread into egg mixture; let soak for 5 minutes.
3.Place in a greased 15in x 10in x 1in baking pan.
4.Cover and refrigerate overnight.
5.Uncover, drizzle with butter.
6.Bake at 325 degrees for 35- 40 minutes or until browned.
