Recipe: Papdi Chaat
Try out this delicious Chaat at home!
Papdi, 250 gms
Potato, boiled and cut into small pieces, 2 medium sized
Tomatoes, finely chopped, 2 small
Chickpeas, boiled, ½ cup
Besan dhokla, crumbled, 2
Sour curd / yogurt (whipped), 2-3 cups
Rock salt (to taste), 1 teaspoon
Roasted cumin seed powder, 1-2 teaspoon
Red chili powder (to taste), 1 teaspoon
Green chillies (optional)
Bhujiya (as per taste)
Dhania (cilantro / fresh coriander leaves) chutney
Tamarind (imli / tentul) chutney
Beat the yogurt with a little salt. You can add a little water, if needed. Keep it aside.
Arrange the papdi on a large plate.
Add the rest of the ingredients one by one on the papdis.
Pour the beaten yogurt over the papdis till they are completely covered.
Add the dhania and tamarind chutney.
Add bhuiya and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Sprinkle a bit of roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder and a little rock salt as per your taste.
Serve immediately, and taste the delicious and crisp Papdi Chaat!
