Try out this easy-to-make pie this Christmas.
-1 unbaked Pie crust
-1 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon ground cloves
-1 teaspoon ground Allspice
-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1.5 cans evaporated milk
-Cut the pumpkin into two and scoop out the seeds along with the stringy stuff.
-Cook the pumpkin in an air-tight saucepan till tender.
-Discard the skin and mash the cooked pumpkin in a blender.
-Preheat oven to 425 degree.
-Whip eggs in a bowl and stir with the mixture of cinnamon, ginger, all spice, cloves, sugar.
- Put the mashed pumpkin in the mixture bowl and stir in evaporated milk.
-Pour this into the pie crust and bake for 15 minutes.
-Lower the heat to 350 degree and cook for another 45 minutes.
-Set aside for 1 ½ hours and serve with whipped cream on top.
