Recipe: Salad Pani Puri

Readymade Puri – 12 nos

For the filling:

1 Cucumber (finely chopped)

2 Tomatoes (finely chopped)

1 Onion (finely chopped)

Boiled American corns

2 tsp lemon juice

1 green chilli finely chopped (optional)

I table spoon finely chopped coriander

Salt to taste

For the Pani:

2 glasses of water (regular sized steel tumbler)

1 tsp chilli powder

2 tsp jeera powder

1 tsp dhaniya powder

1 tsp saunf powder

A few crushed mint leaves

Salt to taste


Mix all the vegetables, add lemon juice and then add salt and keep it aside.

Now, add all the masalas to the water kept for making the Pani. Add the crushed mint leaves and salt.

Then use your index finger to dig a hole on the thinner surface of the puri (One side of the Puri is always thinner than the other).

Now fill the salad mixture, add the masala pani. Garnish with sev/bhujiya.

Salad Pani Puri is ready.
