Recipe: Sunflower Seed Butter Cookies

Try out this yummy cookie.

Ingredients:

• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 2 cups all purpose flour
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup butter brought to room temperature
• 2 large eggs
• 3/4 cup cold sunflower seed butter
• 1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:

Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat together butter, sunflower seed butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a separate large mixing bowl until they have a fluffy consistency. Add eggs and vanilla and hit until combined.
Then add in flour mixture making sure to combine well after each addition. Wrap dough in plastic food wrap, and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Roll dough into tablespoon size balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
To make them flattened, dip the back of a spoon into flour and press into each cookie.
Blaze for approximately for 10 minutes or until golden brown, and remove the cookies from the oven when they look just a little pink.
Cool for 1 minute then place cookies on wax paper or a cooling rack to cool completely. Serve.
