500 gms sweet potato
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp dhaniya powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric
¾ tsp fresh grated coconut
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon oil


Thoroughly wash the sweet potatoes so as to get rid of the soil coating. Boil and peel them. Cut them into small cubes.
Take a pan. Heat some oil and put the mustard seeds. Once they start spluttering, add the cubed sweet potatoes. Add all the masalas and mix well. Then add salt as per taste.
Before turning off the flame, add the freshly grated coconut. Serve hot with Chapati or rice.
