1 cup vermicelli
2 tablespoon ghee
3/4 cup sugar
10-12 almonds (roasted and crushed)
10-12 pistachio (roasted and crushed)
¼ tsp cardamom powder
Few strands of saffron
1-3/4 cups water
1 tablespoon milk
Heat some ghee in a pan in medium flame.
Then add the vermicelli and until golden brown.
Now add water and bring the mixture to a boil for a few minutes.
(You may add a little more water if required to soften the vermicelli).
Add sugar and stir well.
Then add the cardamom powder. Mix the saffron strands with the some milk and pour it into the pan so that the vermicelli blends well with the saffron milk.
Cook for a few minutes.
Garnish with crushed almonds and pistachio.
