Recipe: Torrijas

Start your morning with light and healthy breakfast.

Bread 4 slice

Rum or cognac 1 tsp

Oil ¼ cup

Milk ¾ cup

Egg 1 beaten

Sugar as per taste

Procedure:

Add sugar/cinnamon mixture in a low, flat bowl and mix milk and cognac.

Dampen pieces of bread, and then dip in beaten egg. Fry as for French toast.

Serve hot with sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on top.
