Recipe: Two-way Soya soup

Enjoy the nutritious two-way Soya soup.


vegetable stock
1cup nutri nuggets soaked in water for 15 minutes and squeezed
1/2cupmixed vegetables,choppped finely(carrot, and French beans) 1/2 cup bean curd
tofu-soyabean paneer
1 onion chopped
2 tsp Soya sauce
1tsp chilli sauce
2tsp tomato ketchup
2tsp vinegar
2tbsp corn flour mixed with ½ cup of water
1tsp pepper
freshly ground
salt or to taste
2tsp vegetable oil
1tsp sesame oil(optional)


Method-Cut the bean curd,(tofu) into small squares.Mix Soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, pepper with corn flour and water to a smooth mixture. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion for two minutes. Add the vegetables and sauté for two minutes. Add vegetable stock, bean curd, nutri nuggets and let it cook for 10minutes. Stir in the corn flour mixture. Keep stirring till it begins to thicken. Add sesame oil(if uising) and salt to taste. Pour the soup into a soup bowl and serve hot.
