Recipe: Vegetable raita

A typical Indian meal is incomplete without raita.


1 big Cucumber
2 medium sized tomatoes
1 big onion
25 gms coriander
300 gms curd
½ tsp jeera powder
½ tsp chilli powder
Salt to taste


Peal and grate the cucumber. Finely chop the tomatoes, onion and coriander.

Now add the cut vegetable to curd and mix well. Add jeera powder, chilli powder and salt and mix well. To garnish, add the chopped coriander.
