1 1⁄3 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
2 eggs, separated
1⁄2 cup butter, melted
11⁄2 cups milk
Whisk all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
Now, separate the eggs, and add the yolks to the dry ingredient mixture.
Place the whites in a small mixing bowl.
Beat the whites until they become moderately stiff and set aside the mixture.
Now, add milk and melted butter to the prepared dry ingredient mixture and blend it properly.
Fold stiff egg whites into mixture and ladle mixture into hot waffle iron and bake.
Garnish with fresh fruits like strawberries, berries and drizzle chocolate sauce over to enhance the taste.
