`Friends` movie is not going to happen: Courteney Cox

Los Angeles: Fans may love to see them on the big screen but according to actress Courteney Cox, a `Friends` movie cannot be made as "a lot of things would have to break right".

The 45-year-old actress, who played Monica Geller in all ten seasons of the US sitcom admits, she would be up for reprising the role but she is unsure it could work, Los Angeles Times reported.

"I don`t think it`s going to happen. Would series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman want to write it? Because they`d have to be involved. I don`t know... a lot of things would have to break just right for it to work. But we`ve daydreamed about it," Cox said.

Cox feels that unlike fellow TV show `Sex and the City` which has been made into two movies, the scope for a `Friends` film is limited.

"I wish we could do that with `Friends`. The thing is, the characters from `Sex and the City` hopped all over Manhattan. On `Friends` we were always stuck in the apartment and that coffee house," she said.
