`Mission Impossible` role is childhood dream: Jeremy Renner

Los Angeles: The `Hurt Locker` star Jeremy Renner, who is shooting the latest `Mission:Impossible` film with Tom Cruise, says it is like living his teenage dream.

The actor plays Cruise`s partner in the fourth instalment of the action franchise, and he`s loving every day on set, the Access Hollywood reported.

"I`m not a villain, which is pretty great. It will be a nice little change... It`s great fun getting to run around with Tom and learn all these fantastic moves. It`s like 14-year-old boys` dreams," Renner said.

The actor said working on the film has also helped him get into shape for his next role in `The Avengers`.

"Lucky enough, I get to do Mission: Impossible before (The Avengers) so I get to get in pretty decent shape. I`ll still probably have to work out a bit to be superhero-esque and not the lazy couch potato that I feel like I am," said the actor.
