After raunchy roles, Amanda Seyfried opts for a rom-com
London: Hollywood star Amanda Seyfried has taken a break from her sexy roles in `Chloe` and `Jennifer`s Body` to star in a romantic comedy.
The 24-year-old star is starring in new flick `Letters To Juliet`, against the beautiful backdrop of Verona, Italy, The Sun online reported.
The film follows a couple-- Victor and Sophie pre-wedding trip to Verona, with Victor determined to sample Italian cuisine for his New York restaurant while Sophie is left alone.
But soon Sophie discovers the secretaries of Juliet, a group of women who respond to each and every note addressed to Shakespeare`s fictional character Juliet.
The film is inspired by a true story, with real Juliet fans pouring their hearts out each year to the secretaries. `Letter To Juliet` which also stars Chris Egan Vanessa Redgrave, Gael Garcia Bernal and Franco Nerohits will hit the screens on June 9.
